Placement and Return Rates

From 2004-2009, the Institutional Research Office joined forces with Career Services to administer the Next Destination Survey (NDS). Results from this survey were used to generate university job placement rates, as well as return-to-country rates for international graduates, at the time of graduation. This data was also used to report employment and graduate school placement statistics to the national university database maintained by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE.)  In 2010, Career Services took over full responsibility for reporting on job placement and return-to-country rates.  Beginning with the 2011-12 graduate cohort, Career & Alumni Services and IR have reteamed on this effort and reporting is done on an annual basis by academic year.
